Dr. Travis Gillepsie, D.D.S.
Dr. Travis Gillespie has been practicing dentistry since 2009, and promotes preventive and conservative dentistry. He grew up in southwest Kansas in the small town of Copeland, where he graduated South Gray High School. He graduated suma cum laude from Kansas State University in 2005 with a degree in Nutritional Sciences. He was selected for a senior honors project for the nutrition department, where he studied the effect of vitamin supplementation on the development of lung cancer. He attended the University of Missouri- Kansas City for dental school, where he graduated with honors in 2009. He also completed an honors research project at UMKC, studying the correlation between bone density and tooth enamel.
His wife Kristin practices physical therapy, as well as keeps the household running and helping at the practice whenever needed. They have 3 daughters, Ella, Avery, and Katelyn. Dr. Gillespie loves to golf and spend time on his family farm close to Manhattan.
Dr. Gillespie has been fortunate to train under some of our nations top instructors. He has completed the new doctor curriculum at Arrowhead Dental Laboratory in Sandy, UT. He has also trained in dental implant surgery at the Zimmer Institute in Carlsbad, Ca, and in root canal therapy at the American Dental Association Conference.
This extensive training and Dr. Gillespie's calm, easy manner combine to provide his patients a comfortable, professional experience.
